At every preventive care appointment a complete oral exam is provided. The purpose of the exam is to detect problems early, before complications arise.

Health history combined with oral examinations are integral parts of our dental care for patients who are new to the practice as well as annually for our existing patients.  In addition to caries (cavities) and periodontal disease, annual screening may detect undiagnosed health problems.
